Started in 1995, McQueen Environmental Services, Inc. markets green products to give industry a safer and healthier work environment. The company sells and services parts washers including the SmartWasher, a green parts washer that uses a fluid (OzzyJuice) that is non-hazardous, non-toxic and heated, in combination with earth and user-friendly microbes to destroy the oil and grease.
President and founder Don McQueen is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute and served in the US Army Engineer Corps. He retired from the Army Reserves as a captain.
Don has worked in the environmental field for more than 30 years. He was a member of the National Association of Solvent Recyclers for 14 years and served as president two years.
Don was appointed by former Georgia Gov. Joe Frank Harris in 1990 to serve on a joint study committee on hazardous waste management. He traveled to Sterlitamak, USSR in 1990 on a United States EPA-sponsored trip concerning hydrocarbon recovery.
